Ugo 2L Drainage Bags have been designed by us, for you! There’s no more worrying about overnight leakage as this is prevented by the anti-kink tubing and no more worrying about the connection coming loose between your overnight drainage bag and your catheter leg bag, as this is sorted thanks to the stepped connector, a feature on our Ugo Leg Bags and our Ugo 2L Drainage Bags.

Choose between sterile, individually-wrapped catheter bags, and non-sterile night bags which come in a handy, resealable carrier – perfect for discreet storage in your home.

Product details:

  • Connecting directly to your catheter or leg bag is always secure thanks to the carefully designed stepped connector
  • Reinforced eyelets at the top of the bag come in handy if you choose to support your overnight drainage bag with either the Ugo Stand with Dignity or Ugo Hanger
  • The non-return valve positioned at the top of the bag keeps the urine inside the bag and stops it going back up the drainage pipe
  • If your nurse or doctor needs to take a sample, there’s a needle-free sample port to help with that
  • All our Ugo 2L Drainage Bags come in boxes or bags of 10
  • You’ll find a helpful user guide in the box too
  • Choose from four varieties – we’re confident there is a bag to suit you in our collection

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The tubing at the top of the Ugo 2L Drainage Bags measures 90cm in total.
You may have come across the term ‘link drainage’. This means that your 2L bag is connected to the outlet tubing at the bottom of your leg bag. Once the leg bag tap is opened, urine then flows into the connected 2L bag – making the ‘link’ in link drainage. For guidance on how to do this correctly, each box of bag of Ugo 2L Drainage bags and Ugo Leg Bags comes with a detailed user guide, alternatively you can download it here: https://shop-optimum.com/media/1140/ugo-2l-drainage-bag-user-guide.pdf
For infection control reasons we say no. Once the drainage bag has been disconnected from the catheter, it should be disposed of.
If there is a link drainage connection in place (your 2L drainage Bag is connected to a leg bag), check the leg bag tap to ensure this is open. If the leg bag tap isn’t open, your urine will be collecting in the leg bag. If you’re unable to see urine draining into the leg bag, check the catheter tubing and the tubing at the top of your leg bag to ensure there aren’t any kinks. If there aren’t any kinks but urine still isn’t draining, contact you doctor or nurse immediately.
The Ugo Stand with Dignity can be used to support your 2L drainage bag overnight. We know some people prefer to cover up their drainage bag, so the Ugo stand comes with an optional cover. You can position the Ugo Stand freestanding or attached to the side of the bed, it’s up to you. Another option for drainage bag support is the Ugo Hanger. It features a hook which makes it practical for attaching to a bed, wheelchair or chair arm.
Our single-use Ugo 2L Drainage Bags are Ugo 9, Ugo 10 and Ugo 11. Ugo 9 and Ugo 10 are non-sterile bags and suitable for link drainage only i.e. attaching to your leg bag rather than your catheter. Ugo 11 is sterile so can be used for either link drainage or attaching directly to your catheter. Ugo 12 and Ugo 13 are ideal for individuals who are being cared for under bed rest as they can stay in place for up to one week.
